EPLAN

Objective:

  • To equip electrical and electronics engineering students with hands on experience in industrial electrical design using EPLAN software. The internship focuses on preparing students to create professional electrical schematics, panel layouts, and automation documentation aligned with industry standards.
  • To introduce EEE students to EPLAN software for professional electrical design, control panel layout, and automation system documentation aligned with industry standards.

Skill Sets :

  • Basics of EPLAN Electric P8 Interface.
  • Schematic and Wiring Diagram Design.
  • PLC and Control Circuit Design.
  • Panel Layout and Wiring Reports.
  • Project Structuring and Device Tagging.
  • Generating BOMs and Wiring Lists.
  • Standards Compliance (IEC/ANSI).
  • Cross-referencing and Project Export.

Outcomes:

  • Proficiency in creating industry standard electrical documentation.
  • Understanding of control system architecture.
  • Experience with real time electrical project design.
  • Better readiness for automation and industrial roles.

Certification:

  • Interns will receive a certificate upon completing a structured project involving full schematic and layout creation using EPLAN.
