Auto CAD
Objective:
To provide civil engineering students with hands on training in AutoCAD for civil design and drafting,
enabling them to create accurate 2D drawings, plans, and layouts for construction, infrastructure, and architectural projects. The internship focuses on practical skills needed for real world site and structural projects.
To equip civil engineering students with professional drafting skills using AutoCAD for creating 2D and basic 3D construction drawings and infrastructure layouts.
Skill Sets :
Introduction to AutoCAD Interface and Commands.
2D Drafting.
Drawing Plans, Elevations, and Sections.
Plotting & Annotation Techniques.
Working with Blocks and Xrefs.
Civil Specific Applications.
Introduction to 3D Modeling .
Printing and Sheet Setup as per standards.
Outcomes:
Proficiency in creating accurate civil engineering drawings.
Understanding of drafting standards and symbols.
Completion of civil related mini projects (e.g., residential layout, site plan).
Readiness to support structural, architectural, and infrastructure design teams.
Certification:
Students will receive a certificate upon completion of drafting assignments and a final submission project.
