Objective:


  • To provide mechanical engineering students with industry relevant knowledge and practical exposure to electric vehicle systems, focusing on mechanical design, thermal management, and integration aspects.
  • To equip mechanical engineering students with hands on experience and applied knowledge in electric vehicle (EV) technology, enabling them to contribute to the design, development, analysis, and testing of EV components and systems. The internship aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry expectations.

  • Basics of Electric Vehicle Architecture.
  • Mechanical Components in EVs.
  • Battery Pack Design & Thermal Management.
  • Motor Mounting & Drivetrain Integration.
  • Lightweight Materials & Structural Optimization.
  • CAD Modeling & Simulation of EV Parts.
  • Introduction to Vehicle Dynamics & Performance.
  • Mini Project: Concept EV Design or Subsystem Development.

Outcomes:


  • Understanding of EV mechanical subsystem integration.
  • Hands on experience in CAD and thermal/mechanical analysis.
  • Readiness for roles in EV product design, R&D, or manufacturing.
  • Completion of a project related to EV component or assembly.

Certification:


  • Interns will receive a certificate after completing a design based mini project and evaluation.
