Objective:


  • To provide students with foundational knowledge and hands on experience in Cybersecurity principles, tools, and practices. This internship is designed to prepare participants for careers in ethical hacking, network security, and information protection by simulating real world security scenarios.
  • To introduce students to the fundamentals of cybersecurity, including ethical hacking, network security, and threat analysis, preparing them to identify and mitigate digital threats in real world scenarios.

Skill Sets :


  • Basics of Cybersecurity and Information Security.
  • Network Security & Protocols.
  • Threats, Vulnerabilities, and Attacks.
  • Ethical Hacking & Penetration Testing (Intro).
  • Web Security Concepts (SQL Injection, XSS, CSRF).
  • Cybersecurity Tools (Wireshark, Nmap, Metasploit basics).
  • Introduction to Firewalls, IDS/IPS, and Antivirus Systems.
  • Cyber Laws & Best Practices.

Outcomes:


  • Awareness of real world cyber threats and countermeasures.
  • Practical skills in scanning, monitoring, and securing systems.
  • Readiness for entry level cybersecurity roles or further specialization.
  • Completion of a mini project on threat analysis or system hardening.

Certification:


  • Participants will receive a certificate upon successful completion of the internship project and evaluation.
